Communicator Award Winners

We are proud to announce that we’ve won a 2009 Communicator Award. This award of distinction is in honor of our work on the official trailer for The Compass. The judging is overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 450+ member organization of media professionals dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. This is the 2nd award given to 336 Productions this year, the first being a Telly Award.

“The quality, creativity and execution of this year’s work is a true testament to the talents and abilities of communications professionals from around the world. The entries received reflect an increasingly diversified industry and the work once again sets the bar extremely high,” noted Linda Day, director of the IAVA. She added, “On behalf of the entire Academy, we are honored to have once again judged the 15th Annual Communicator Awards and we are proud to honor the outstanding communications professionals who continue to push a high standard of excellence.”

336 Productions is the proud recipient of a prestigious Telly Award! This award is in honor of their work on the official trailer for the feature length documentary, The Compass. They are overjoyed to be recognized in this way.

The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, interactive agencies, and corporate video departments in the world. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from all 50 states and countries around the world . . . Based on the ratio of winners over the past several years, approximately 7 to 10% of entries are chosen as Silver Telly Award winner.”

The Compass DVD Now On Sale

You can now own the special 2 disc DVD set of The Compass. 336 Productions co-produced this inspirational film with Spencer Media. 336 Productions’ founders, Josh Stone and Marlowe Greenlee, co-directed, produced, edited, and shot the special interest, film. The film aims to give viewers the tools and resources necessary to make real, lasting improvements in their lives. The film features the world’s leaders in personal development and success, including: Debbie Allen, John Assaraf, Les Brown, Dr. John DeMartini, Marie Diamond, T. Harv Eker, Bruce Lipton, and Robi Ludwig, Psy. D.

Disc 2 contains valuable bonus features including The Teen Compass, The Balanced Compass, additional expert footage, The Making of The Compass, Bloopers, and a special message from the creator of The Compass, John Spencer Ellis.

The Compass book book is available online and in bookstores this Spring.
