336 Productions has won two Pixie Awards. A gold Pixie for motion graphics, and a platinum Pixie for Opening Title Sequence. The work submitted for the motion graphics category was a trade show video we did for a technology company. The Opening Title Sequence category was won in recognition of our work on the opening title sequence for the film, Monster Heroes. This is an important award for us because it adds to the list of elements and categories we’ve won awards win.
Interestingly, 92% of all video productions now use motion graphics, effects, or animation. Unlike the other awards we’ve won, these awards recognize excellence in only those categories. Graphics, animations, and effects play a critical in the effectiveness of a video. They can be used to teach, highlight a point or idea, or showcase branding (logos, color palettes, mottos, etc.). They can also give videos style and pazazz. Graphics, animations, and effects can be in your face, or subdued, it’s all a matter of what the videos look, feel, messaging, and purpose is.
